WinXP SP 2 RC2
Installed it the other day on the new computer I got for my dad.
It’s running quite well, not any issues. When I ran iTune to connect to the Radio (I like streaming radio) the firewall prompted me, asking whether or not I wanted to enable iTunes through to the network (you know, look at the Exceptions tab on the Windows Firewall, you’ll see what apps have been let through).
At least now I know that that machine will always be up to date with patches, antivirus and so on. I won’t always be home, and my dad’s just learning how to use the computer, so that’ll be good. Only part problem is dads’ english isn’t that good. Wish there was a way for me to purchase Win XP with Chinese interface rather than english. Don’t know of anywhere that sells non english software.
I’ve got the fonts and so on installed so that he can at least input Chinese text.
