MDNUG Meeting today! (27/07/2004)
Tonight’s User Group meeting has the following listed as the agenda: (taken from the MDNUG website)
- Mark Jarzebowski will report on ‘breakfast’ with Bill Gates.
- VTR will give a presentation on how to “deal” with recruitment agencies and on employment/contractor items of interests for developers.
- Peter Halliday will give a presentation on business structures and options for I.T. developers pros & cons
- Chris Garty will give a presentation about the recent VS2005 beta released.
- We will hold a panel discussion about current industry salaries and rates and likely future trends.
Cool, looks interesting. I’ll be there (just look for the guy with the navy blue cap on, or just ask for William… i’m not that hard to find.), if you haven’t attended any of the Melbourne Dot Net User Group meetings in Melbourne, and you are in Melbourne. You really should come along.
And if you are planning on attending, just send an email to rsvp@mdnug.org so they know roughly how many mouths need to be fed!
FOOoooDd!
It’s held at the Microsoft Melbourne offices on Level 9 of the Como Office Towers (644 Chapel St, South Yarra) and starts at 5:30pm (that’s when the pizza arrives) and runs until roughly 9pm.
