Full text RSS

Just a tiny gripe…

RSS Feeds need to be full text! I’m disappointed that blogs.msdn.com/weblogs.asp.net are not offering full Text RSS anymore.

Although, as far as I can tell, if you subscribe to a particular blog, you will get them in full text!
I suppose I can understand it though, with the amount of posts per day on the blogs hosted via blogs.msdn.com/weblogs.asp.net

I’m sure a lot of bandwidth is being gobbled up each time a user visits the main pages.

Oh, and while we are on the topic of RSS, I also don’t like feeds that contain any font formatting.
Ok, the occassional italics, bolded words or underlined words is still okay though, if they are used to emphasise a point.

Maybe a compromise is in order, one feed to be displayed on the main page, another fulltext version for us that read it via an aggregator?

And also the autostripping of font tags when pulling the content in RSS form?
