The power of the blogs!

Can blogs influence decisions of others?

Yes, I think they can. Do you?

Just look at what happened here. snap.com has now revised their linking policy due to blog posts posted at boingboing.net and trainedmonkey.com.

Ok, so news travels fast, this is an ever connected world we are in now. I may not have met other blog writers overseas, but if I have been reading their blog for awhile, I feel a connection to them somehow.

The internet has changed how fast information travels from one part of the world to another.

I don’t even watch the news on TV much these days, I get all my news from my RSS feeds, and news.google.com.au. Chances are, if it’s worthwhile news, it’ll be blogged about by someone or it comes in via the Yahoo! News RSS feed.

With blogs, social engineering tools (eg: friendster, orkut and several others), IM tools (and of course you can include EMail) our social network has grown substantial amounts.

Want to grow your social network? Well then, Blog!

Oh, on that topic I just by chance went to Dare Obasanjo’s blog, and noticed this post titled, Social Software is the Platform of the Future.
