Google, a life saver?
According to this article, in today’s Australian IT, John Martinkus was saved because “Googled one of his (book) publishers’ websites in an effort to establish who he was. ” said Dateline executive producer Mike Carey.
So how many people can honestly say that Google has saved their lives?
Many of us probably use Google almost daily to search for various items, such as answers to computer problems and so on.
Wait, this is probably good publicity for Google!
So, the word “Googled” has now become mainstream, even non-techies have started using the term.
