MSN blogging service launched!

This is half available, half not available at current…

It’s called “MSN Spaces“.

And the official launch is tonight (which means, although you may be able to sign up, you won’t be able to blog or anything yet). By tonight, I mean, night time over in Redmond.

Additional links… 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (MS Press Release).

Also, the new MSN Messenger 7 (Public Beta) will also be available later tonight (according to the above links).

Also of worthy mention is that the blogging tool will allow for comments, and trackbacks. As well as RSS.

The new MSN Messenger 7, will also have some functionality to tie it in with MSN Spaces.

Looks like blogging is going to just “explode” even further now.

There’s no doubt there is already many many blogs out there, and now, it’s likely that there is going to be just as many more!

Think about it… Technorati says it is watching 4,827,319 blogs. And MSN Messenger has 145 million active users.

The blogosphere as we know it will be just so huge! There will be just so much “blog” noise.

Scoble may need to up the ante and subscribe to 2000 blogs!

Ok, maybe that’s just a tad extreme 😛

I’ve signed up, but it states that it is temporarily unavailable… http://spaces.msn.com/members/willl
