eBay and the GST
Looks like eBay will now have to add GST to their listed prices from now on.
Well, on the Australian part of their site anyway (that’s ebay.com.au as opposed to ebay.com).
Why are the adding GST to the listed price?
Well, this is why (from the article):
“Some eBay buyers reported that they had been charged an additional 10 per cent on top of their winning bid or ‘Buy It Now’ price without having been properly alerted beforehand of the additional charge,” he said.
I don’t use eBay, so this is new to me.
