Melbourne .NET User Group tommorow
Just in case anyone missed it, this month’s User Group meeting for MDNUG/AusDev has been changed to tommorow, July 21st rather than the usual 4th Tuesday of every month.
There is 3 planned topics for this month’s user group meeting as listed on both user groups’ websites:
1. Tangible Architect – Peter Hailiday
One of their claims: “With tangible architect up to 70% of the code of an average application can be generated automatically. This includes data access, data-binding and parts of the business logic.â€2. IBM offerings for software development – Peter Haliday
Two of their claims: “IBM Express offerings better positioned to help lower the total cost of ownership (for customers)†and “IBM Express middleware is priced lower than Microsoft alternativesâ€3. WSE 3.0 – Chris Hewitt
For those who missed last month, you missed out on a very informative and interesting session by Peter Halliday which talked about developing applications for the blind.
For the web developers out there, here is a checklist for the Section 508 Web Accessibility. And the official website for it.
I think it’s very important that web developers do their best to follow the standards. Don’t ignore them. This tool from Watchfire.com helps with it.

Hi there,
I wanted to get some feed back on Tangible Architect. How does it measure up to DeKlarit or Entity Broker?
Thank you for your time,
Scott.
